Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona faced each other in the transfer of Fenerbahçe’s star Arda Güler, and the capital team won the race.
Real Madrid managed to add the 18-year-old football player to their squad. The magenta-whites will make a payment to Fenerbahce, which includes a definitive testimonial fee of 20 million euros and bonuses of 10 million euros.
Arda Güler went to Spain to undergo health checks and sign an official contract.
After the official announcement of the transfer, Real Madrid’s Brazilian star Vinicius Junior shared Arda Güler on his social media account.
Citing Real Madrid’s share of Arda Güler, Vinicius said, “Another football player who chose the biggest club in the world.”
