The Arctic Monkeys have opened their “The Car” European tour – and surprised the fans.
The Arctic Monkeys played the premiere concert of their “The Car” European tour in Linz, Austria on Monday (April 24) and performed live for the first time since 2014 “Suck It And See” from their 2011 album of the same name .
With their tour, the Brits are also coming to Germany for five concerts, playing in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Oberhausen and Frankfurt between April 25th and May 8th. Inhaler has been announced as the pre-act for all concerts. The shows are already sold out.
The album THE CAR accompanying the tour was released in October last year and followed TRANQUILITY BASE HOTEL AND CASINO (2018).
In total, the band will play 116 shows worldwide between August 9, 2022 and October 7, 2023, divided into seven sections. Leg six – Europe – concludes in Athens in July before the tour’s Americas finale concludes in Mexico City on October 7th.
