Sunday 24 and Monday 25 April 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams will play for the title at the Ferruccio Corradino Squarcia stadium, home to the traditional historical reinterpretation of the Quintana
Aside from the indoor season, archery can finally kick off outdoor competitions. There is an air of spring and the first federal outdoor event of 2022 will be held in Ascoli Piceno, on 24 and 25 April, on the occasion of the twentieth edition of the Italian club championship.
Sport and tradition

The event, organized by the Piceni Archers with the support of the Marche regional committee, will be held in a historic place for those who know the Marche capital: the arrows of the best Italian teams will in fact be shot at the Ferruccio Corradino Squarcia Stadium, the traditional theater of the famous and heartfelt Quintana of Ascoli, historical reinterpretation in which archers also participate. And it is not the first time that a great event returns to these parts, considering that, precisely in Ascoli, between the Squarcia field and the Del Duca stadium, the National Phase of the Youth Games in 2018, the Regions’ Cup in the 2016, the Italian Youth Cup in 2015 and, again, the Club Championship in 2013. The best 16 male and 16 female teams will battle it out on the Quintana field, who will field three archers as usual (plus reserves), each belonging to a different division: Olympic bow, compound and bare bow. If the arrival of the delegations, the practice shots and the parade of the teams for the opening ceremony is expected on April 24, Monday April 25 will get serious with the actual competition: it will begin with the group matches, at the at the end of which the best four will come out and the semifinals will be played and, subsequently, the final of the women and then of the men who assign the title. The decisive matches for the podium will be broadcast in live streaming on the Fitarco Youtube channel.
Qualified teams

The reigning champions of the Monica Arcieri Company will participate in the men’s competition, to challenge the other fifteen qualified teams: Archers Iuvenilia, Malin Archery Team, Archers Fivizzano, Archers Tigullio, Kosmos Rovereto, Archers of Medio Chienti, Archers Città di Pescia, Arco Club Pontino , Archers of Malpaga Bartolomeo Colleoni, Archers of the Sun, Archers of Tre Torri, Archers of the City of Terni, Archers of the City of Florence Ugo di Toscana, Archers of Abruzzo and Castenaso Archery Team. In the women’s field, the reigning champions of the Tigullio Archers will go to the firing line together with Kosmos Rovereto, Tre Torri Archers, Pescia Archers, Burarco Archers, Malin Archery Team, Abruzzesi Archers, Roccolo Archers, Airone Archers, Decumanus Archers Maximus, Ypsilon Arco Club, Middle Chienti Archers, Piave Archers, Montecchi Archers, Collegno Archers and Monica Archers Company.
