The president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragones, has pre-agreed with employers and unions to automatically revalue the Catalunya Income Sufficiency Indicator (IRSC) every year, as confirmed by sources familiar with the conversations to EL PERIÓDICO. The automatic revaluation of the IRSC will give peace of mind to beneficiaries and a guarantee that their income will increase, with greater or lesser intensity. And it is that during the last decade this indicator was frozen and it was not until last year that, after a similar agreement with employers and unions, the Government of Aragonès agreed to revalue it. For next year the parties have agreed to increase it by 4%, according to what the ‘EFE agency’ has announced and this medium has been able to confirm. The amount of the IRSC will thus reach 639.2 euros monthly or 8,949 euros annually.
