Arafat on Bushido: “Look! Me! At!”

By Anne Losensky

Day 105 in the trial of Arafat Abou Chaker (47) and his three brothers (42, 45, 52)!

The clan boss was once the manager of Bushido (44). The rapper rose to superstardom and both became rich. When Bushido wanted to get rid of him, Arafat is said to have demanded a lot of money. Attempted serious predatory extortion, grievous bodily harm, deprivation of liberty, insults, these are just some of the charges.

The trial has been going on for more than three years now, and the clan brothers remain silent. The rapper family was under personal protection for four years at taxpayer expense (half a million euros per year, according to legal circles).

Bushido spent 25 days in court talking everything off his chest, his wife Anna-Maria (41, sister of pop star Sarah Connor) needed 5 days. Bushido found harsh words for the disastrous failure of their lucrative bromance: “It was like being forced into a marriage… Arafat lives in the illusion that he made me, he is Bushido.”

On the 105th day of the trial, the “secret recording” of a conversation from the heated separation phase was played in court, found on a cell phone belonging to the clan boss. Arafat (loudly): “LOOK! ME! AT! Are you kidding me?” Bushido (meekly): “Neither in the past nor now…”

Arafat, later: “Honestly Bushido, nobody is putting any pressure here! I don’t need that, you can work…” Bushido: “We just find a house number, some value…” Arafat: “Then you have a value, I have a value. But I can’t give you a Bentley and you give me a Trabi! I’M SERIOUS!”

The entire recording is over two hours long. Arafat Abou Chaker is said to have presented 24 minutes of this in a civil lawsuit against Bushido when it came to the validity of his manager’s contract.

Bushido has been living with his family in the tax haven of Dubai since last year. This week he is back in Germany. On Wednesday (October 4th) he is scheduled to be heard in the million dollar dispute with his ex-manager before the Brandenburg Higher Regional Court.

Clan leader Arafat is also invited. Then the feuding ex-“blood brothers” meet again…
