Mrs. K. (Karlijn) Teuben and Mr. AEH (Alexander) Van der Voort Maarschalk are appointed justices to the Supreme Court of the Netherlands. The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination for appointment on the proposal of Minister Weerwind for Legal Protection.
Karlijn Teuben will start in the civil chamber as of April 1, 2022. She currently works as a lawyer at Pels Rijcken & Droogleever Fortuijn. Before that, she was a researcher and lecturer at Leiden University.
Alexander Van der Voort Maarschalk will start in the tax office on 1 June 2022. He currently works as a lawyer at Houthoff.
