Mr. RA (Andy) Lee becomes State Councilor of the Kingdom for Aruba. The Kingdom Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Prime Minister Wever-Croes of Aruba in close consultation with the Council of State. The appointment takes effect on January 1, 2024.
Mr. Lee succeeds Ms. MGM (Mildred) Schwengle, who held this position until November 1, 2023. He was born in Aruba and is director and owner of Lee Advisory Training and Real Estate. Previously, he was head of the Research Department of the Central Bank of Aruba, advisor to the Aruban Minister of General Affairs and Minister Plenipotentiary of Aruba in Washington.
The Advisory Division of the Council of State of the Kingdom includes the members of the Advisory Division of the Council of State plus the three additional members appointed by the countries Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
