Mr. JAM (José) van Aerle will become Chief Director of Finance and Control (HDFC) at the Ministry of Defense. The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Minister De Jonge of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment takes effect on February 1, 2024.
José van Aerle has been there since September 2018 Chief Financial Officer and also a member of the board at Rijkswaterstaat, executive organization of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. Previously, she was cluster director of Central Administrative Processes at the Tax Authorities at the Ministry of Finance. Previously, she was director of Operations and Services at the municipality of Tilburg and started her career as an inspector at the Tax Authorities, where she subsequently held various management positions. José van Aerle graduated in Tax Law from Tilburg University.
This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
