Mr. Wilbert Mutsaers is appointed as a member of the Council for Culture. The Council of Ministers has agreed to this on the proposal of State Secretary Uslu of Culture and Media. The appointment will take effect on 1 May 2023 for a period of four years.
Mutsaers is an experienced director in the Dutch music and broadcasting world and is now a manager at a music agency Agents After All. He was for this, among other things Head of Music at Spotify Benelux, channel manager at 3FM and NPO FUNX and CEO bee Mojo Concerts. He also worked UniversalMusic Netherlands and Sony Music Benelux. In addition to his work, Mutsaers held various additional positions in the cultural and media sector.
Council for Culture
The Council for Culture is the independent advisory body to the government and parliament in the field of art, culture and media. The Board also consists of the following members: Kristel Baele (chairman), Stef Avezaat, Deirdre Carasso, Nancy Jouwe, John Olivieira-Siere, Edo Righini and Ellen Schindler.
