Mr. HM (Harald) Bergmann becomes the new mayor of the municipality of Schiedam. At the proposal of Minister De Jonge of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Council of Ministers has decided to nominate him for appointment. The appointment takes effect on March 13, 2024.
Mr Bergmann (58 years old) is a member of the VVD. He is currently mayor of the municipality of Middelburg.
Jules Bijl (D66) is currently acting mayor of Schiedam.
