Mr MF (Maarten) Poorter will be the new mayor of the municipality of Dijk en Waard. On the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Council of Ministers has decided to nominate him for appointment. The appointment will take effect on July 13, 2022.
Mr Poorter (43 years old) is a member of the PvdA. He is currently district chairman of Amsterdam-East.
Peter Rehwinkel (PvdA) is currently acting mayor of Dijk en Waard.
