drs. MHT (Marjolein) Jansen will become Director-General of Spatial Planning at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The Council of Ministers has approved the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment will take effect on June 12, 2023.
Marjolein Jansen has been Program Director-General for Spatial Planning/Environmental Law at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations since September 2022. Before that, she was a member of the Board of Directors of Kadaster and held various positions, including Vice President of the Executive Board of the Free University in Amsterdam and Deputy Secretary General at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. at a province and municipality.
Marjolein Jansen studied Public Administration at Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam and Environmental Science at the Center for Environmental Sciences at Leiden University.
This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
