mr. SJS (Sue) Preenen is appointed Attorney General. The Council of Ministers has decided to nominate her on the proposal of Minister Yesilgöz-Zegerius of Justice and Security.
From 2021, Preenen will be Chief Public Prosecutor at the Noord-Holland District Court. From 2018 to 2020, she was deputy chief public prosecutor of the same district public prosecutor’s office. Preenen started her career as a trainee judicial officer (RAIO). After that she was a (senior) public prosecutor and manager at the Amsterdam District Court.
The intended appointment date of Mr. Preenen as Attorney General is July 1, 2023.
