Ms R. Uylenburg will become chairman of the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State. The Council of Ministers has agreed to this on the proposal of Minister Weerwind for Legal Protection in agreement with Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. Mrs. Uylenburg succeeds Mr. BJ van Ettekoven. The appointment will take effect on 1 January 2024.
Rosa Uylenburg (aged 60) has been a State Councilor in the Administrative Jurisdiction Division since 2012. Since 2017 she has been chair of the Environmental Chamber of the Administrative Jurisdiction Division. Before Rosa Uylenburg became a State Councilor, she was a professor of environmental law, in particular nature conservation law, at the University of Amsterdam.
