Kuluttaja-lehti has added Apple to its black list because the company has failed to comply with most of the recommendations of the Consumer Disputes Board.
Consumer says that Apple has often failed to follow the recommendations of the Consumer Disputes Board.
The newspaper asked to see the disputes concerning Apple, where the board has recommended compensation.
The Consumer Disputes Board has had a total of 12 such cases between 2006 and 2019, but Apple has followed the recommendation in only three of them.
The information is based on information received from the board’s consumers.
The disputes have concerned, for example, the sale of telephones and computers and the repair costs of faulty devices.
In some cases, in addition to Apple, the seller of the device or a service shop has been responsible for the refund.
The blacklisted companies have not followed the Consumer Disputes Board’s recommendation on how they must compensate the consumer for their mistakes. Kuluttaja-lehti urges you to avoid doing business with companies on the black list.
