The work that tech giant Apple is doing to develop its own modem chip for its mobile phones should yield results as early as next year. At the end of 2024 or early 2025, Apple wants to have its own chip that must combine mobile telephony, WiFi and Bluetooth, writes financial news agency Bloomberg based on insiders. That is a year later than the original plans, but the development of the part turned out to be more complicated than expected.
