Apple TV+ offers free series until January 2nd

For a short period of time, the Apple TV+ streaming service is making it possible to stream many of its top-class series without subscription costs. That’s behind the offer.

Streaming fans always have a lot to do around the turn of the year anyway. Finally you have time to catch up on all the films and series. In addition, the streaming services are releasing a little more new content than usual due to the piling up of holidays. In this context, Apple TV+ has decided on a special advertising campaign in which you can watch various series for free. TECHBOOK checked the offer.

Apple TV+ offers series for free until the beginning of January

The Apple TV+ streaming service has been around since 2019. Since then, the provider has been known primarily for its small but consistently high-quality offering. The price for a subscription is also reasonable compared to the competition at 6.99 euros per month. It is also possible to stream the first episode of the first season of a series without taking out a subscription. Interested parties can test whether a subscription is worthwhile for them at all.

At the turn of the year, Apple TV+ is expanding this offer to attract new customers. A total of 38 episodes from various series can be viewed free of charge until January 2, 2023. The offer actually includes four series of Apple TV+.

  • Ted Lasso: Multi-award winning comedy series about a football coach who goes to England to get a football team back on track.
  • The Morning Show: The hit and award-winning drama series starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell and Reese Witherspoon about an American news program.
  • For All Mankind: What if the Soviets, not the Americans, landed on the moon first and colonized it? This alternate reality is the subject of the hit political thriller series.
  • Tehran: New series that takes a closer look at the tense relationship between Israel and Iran.

The first season of all these series is available completely free of charge on Apple TV+ as part of the campaign.

Here’s how to take advantage of the offer

The first seasons of these four series can be streamed for free until January 2, 2023, either via an Apple device or the Apple TV+ website. However, you must have a personal Apple ID and register accordingly.

If you want to see more after the first season, you can also book the free one-week trial of Apple TV+. However, this is then automatically extended to a regular subscription if you do not cancel in good time, i.e. 24 hours before it expires. Incidentally, the current offer, which includes the four series, is detached and will probably not be extended automatically. At least that’s what the information available so far suggests.
