The hostage taker of the Apple Store in Amsterdam has died. ‘Het Parool’ reports this on Wednesday evening and is confirmed by the Dutch Public Prosecution Service. Earlier in the day, the man had already been identified by the Dutch newspaper as Abdel Rahman A. (27). The hostage-taker was hit by a police team on Tuesday evening after his main hostage was able to run away after 5 p.m.
