Apple’s trade-in feature
If you want to switch from an Android device to an Apple device or from an older model to a newer model, you can do so with Apple’s trade-in function: by giving your old device in part exchange, it can be professionally recycled and in exchange you get a credit for it. You can do something good for your wallet and the planet at the same time. To find out what the old device is worth, you can enter the serial number for Apple devices and the so-called IMEI number for Android devices on the company’s website. The trade-in value can then be estimated on the basis of this.

With the “Transfer to iOS” app, data transfer from an Android smartphone to an iPhone is made as easy as possible. Trade-in prices have been reduced
However, if you trade in your old Android device for an Apple device, you will receive less money for it in the future than you have in the past. As Macworld reports, the Android devices are now worth a lot less in exchange than before. For example, while you initially got up to $545 for a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it’s now only $405. That’s a whopping $140 reduction. The purchase price of the Samsung Galaxy 21+ 5G also fell by a whole 110 US dollars. While you could get up to $435 for it before, it’s now only $325. It’s not uncommon for products like this to drop in price as they get older, but Macworld said prices for most Android devices have come down drastically, regardless of age. In addition, the price of some Apple devices, such as the iPad Air, the iMac and the Mac mini, has also fallen. However, the price reduction is only a very small difference compared to the Android devices.
