Apple posted less revenue on a year-over-year basis in the past quarter. Traditionally, the quarter, the second of the broken financial year of the tech group, is a lesser period for Apple. Revenue from sales of iPhones did increase, in contrast to sales of other devices, such as Mac computers and iPads.
