Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for the Saudi Arabian team Al Nassr, had the referee change the penalty decision.
Ma Ning, the referee of the Al Nassr-Persepolis match played in the Asian Champions League, showed the penalty point after Ronaldo fell down in the penalty area in the second minute of the match.
The 38-year-old football player went to the referee and changed the decision by saying that the position was not a penalty.
The match ended in a goalless draw. Sitting in the leadership seat with 13 points, Al Nassr guaranteed to advance to the last 16 rounds.
