Appeal opens against Egyptian father who kidnapped daughters of Janette | Inland

AMSTERDAM – Her daughters were kidnapped by her ex when they were 2 and 6. It wasn’t until fifteen years later that Janette Keur got them back as grown women. Despite being sentenced to five years in prison, Khaled el M. has only been incarcerated for a month and a half to this day, and was not hindered when he left for Egypt. The appeal will start on Tuesday at the court in Amsterdam.
