A major fire has raged at an apartment on Dr. Plesmansingel in Amstelveen. The house was completely burned out, but the fire is now out. According to the safety region, no injuries were reported.
The fire broke out just after 9 p.m. A large scale has been scaled up due to all the adjacent homes. There was damage to the balcony above the burned-out house, but the fire brigade was able to prevent the fire from really spreading.
The block has been cleared. According to the spokesperson for the safety region, many apartment residents were not at home during the fire. The resident of the burned-out apartment was checked by ambulance personnel, but did not have to go to hospital.
