Apartment fire on Wednesday evening in Boxhagener Strasse in Friedrichshain.
According to BZ information, 3 lithium-ion batteries for scooters caught fire and the fire spread to the apartment. One resident was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

The batteries were recovered by the fire brigade, cooled in a special container and later disposed of separately.
The fire brigade was on site with 35 emergency services, a specialist commissioner of the Berlin police determined.
