On Thursday evening around 10 p.m. there was an apartment fire in a high-rise building on Selchenauer Weg.
A resident was found in the home while the fire was being put out. The woman could not be revived.
The fire brigade was on site with 54 emergency services.
A Berlin police fire department is investigating the fire and the circumstances under which the woman died.
