Anyone applying for naturalization in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt must now express their support for Israel’s right to exist. The Ministry of the Interior of the state, located in the east of the country, determined this in November in a decree to local authorities. The state’s Minister of the Interior, Tamara Zieschang, said this on Tuesday in Magdeburg.
