ANWR subsidiary Schuh Mücke brings Felix Schmuck into the management

Schuh und Sport Mücke GmbH, based in Scheßlitz in Upper Franconia, has expanded its management team. From October 15, Felix Schmuck will form the retailer’s management trio together with Kathrin Schmidt and Thomas Klein, the parent company ANWR Group eG announced on Monday. In his new function, the 39-year-old will be “responsible within the management for the areas of purchasing, merchandise service and supply chain”.

In the course of his career, according to his future employer, Schmuck has already worked for well-known clothing suppliers such as Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf and Hugo Boss, as well as for the brands Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, which belong to the PVH Group. There he most recently held the position of Senior Director Tommy Hilfiger Retail Merchandising Europe & Travel Retail EMEA.

“Felix Schmuck perfectly complements the management of Schuh Mücke with Kathrin Schmidt and Thomas Klein,” explained Fritz Terbuyken, the responsible board member of the ANWR Group, in a statement. “The trusting cooperation with the more than 500 shoe, sports and fashion brands is extremely important for the comprehensive range of goods in the area in order to master the upcoming challenges.”

At Schuh Mücke, Schmuck will in future be responsible for “the purchasing of shoes, textiles, accessories and sports for the twelve locations in Bavaria as well as the entire goods control process”. Kathrin Schmidt is responsible for the areas of finance, IT and human resources in the management of the Mücke Group, Thomas Klein is responsible for the departments of sales, branch management, e-commerce and marketing.
