The investigation started a year ago after the neighborhood work in Deurne received information about the restaurant Antwerp Grill on Jan Welterslaan that would be used as a cover for illegal activities. Customers could go to the restaurant for cocaine and the place was frequented by Albanian men who are said to be active in the criminal environment and are known for, among other things, burglaries, arms smuggling, counterfeiting money and buying and selling drugs.
