Moving on after a year
Antonio Colak is leaving Glasgow Rangers and making a permanent move from the Scottish Premiership to Italy’s Serie B side Parma Calcio. The 29-year-old attacker, formerly under contract with SV Darmstadt and 1. FC Nürnberg, has been given a three-year contract. The Croatian, who was born in Ludwigsburg, only switched from PAOK Saloniki to Rangers in 2022 for 2.5 million euros and made 21 goals in 39 competitive games in 2022/23, but since the beginning of the year he has often only come from the bench or has not been used at all.
“I’m really happy to be a part of this big club. A club with an incredible history, incredible fans and a lot of ambition. I can’t wait to play in front of the Parma fans. I hope that we can achieve our goals and celebrate many wins and goals together,” said Colak. His former club Glasgow recently strengthened their squad with strikers Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers and Abdallah Sima.
