Antonio Aracre: “Whoever wins in JvC arrives with greater decision-making power”

“Whoever wins in Together for Change arrives with greater decision-making power, be it Patricia Bullrich or Horacio Rodriguez Larreta. Both arrive with a completely different legitimacy than the one that arrived Alberto Fernandez today or to the one who has his own Sergio Massa for taking decisions. The degrees of freedom that Massa has to make decisions without consulting Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner they are also limited”, macó the former chief of advisors to the president, Antonio Aracre.

“The Frente de Todos has a legitimate intention to win the elections but has ideological defects on which it is very difficult to maneuver, and in this concept sectors with very divergent points of view on the economy coexist. It does not have a monolithic idea and everything must be agreed, in a moment of crisis that is very complex”, analyzed Aracre in El Disparador (Delta 90.3).

“Peronism has an opportunity to recover electoral wealth but it must take a risk and launch a stabilization plan that will surely have some bitter pills but that shows hope. The electorate cannot be convinced with what we are going to do from January, but with what we are not doing this year. You have to put all the claw possible to find a deeper solution to what is happening”, insisted the CEO of Syngenta.

I feel frustration and disappointment for passing through management, not spite and even less resentment. Because when one joins in that type of feat, it is not necessary in my case, because after 37 years in private activity and having done it with great success and desire, it was not necessary, but I also did not want to stay in a place where it is frowned upon to comment or have divergent ideas. Faced with the media circus that was put together, it was better to move aside and let others handle the situation, ”she undressed about her time in public administration.

“I I greatly underestimated the political thread, but I don’t know if I like it, I prefer management, transformation, changing people’s lives. I disagree with Matías Kulfas that a stabilization plan is the solution but that the next government should do it. I am not resigned to people having a bad time in the next 8 months because we are in an election year. We cannot present ourselves as an option to continue governing if at this time we say that we cannot do anything,” Aracre added.

The Ministry of Economy is outsourced to Sergio Massa’s team, it is he who must give the proposal and convince Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and Alberto Fernández that they must have a stabilization plan. I hope that he announces it when he finishes putting the final stitch on the agreement with the International Monetary Fund and that the fresh funds we need come in there, because Argentina has a shortage of dollars”, concluded the former presidential adviser.
