Anton Levtchi, 26, signed a contract with the Florida Panthers in the summer and left to take the NHL step. However, during the season, the road led to the farm, Charlotte Checkers.

The magic familiar from the SM league has been seen in the narrow AHL games. During Saturday’s game against the Hartford Wolf Pack, Levtchi broke free and swam with forsberg the puck hits the net beautifully.

Levtchi also had a hit on Sunday against the Providence Bruins. He operated in the Checkers’ first team alongside him Chris Tierney and Zac Dalpe.

Levtchi’s autumn has been amazing: 11 matches, eight (5+3) points. The balance is enough for the second place in the Checkers exchange with equal points with the leading Dalpe (6+2).

Three Finnish Checkers

They also play in a Checkers shirt Aleksi Heponiemi and Santtu Kinnunen. Heponiemi has been trying to break into the NHL for a few seasons now. Kinnunen, like Levtchi, is the Finnish champion from Tappara from last season.

Heponiemi played two games last week wearing a Panthers jersey.

He got just over ten minutes of credit in both games. One assist was recorded in the statistics.

On the AHL side, Heponiemi has scored seven (2+5) points in nine matches.

Like Levtch, Kinnunen is waiting for his NHL debut. He has recorded an excellent six (1+5) power points for a defender in ten matches.
