Emergohal staff immediately called the police. According to the players of Maccabi, Atletico has also been guilty of anti-Semitic remarks and the giving of the Hitler salute in addition to violence.

In an earlier game, at the beginning of March this year, there was already a disagreement between the two teams. An Atletico player was shown a red card for kicking after, after which an anti-Semitic verbal abuse broke out, according to the CIDI. “Jews, football, you can fill it in yourself,” said a spokesman for Maccabi on the CIDI website
