Anthony Hopkins dances “reluctantly” on social media, but dances anyway – Here’s why

86 years old Anthony Hopkins is also a social media star these days.

In his social media posts, the acting legend jokes around, dances wildly, and dangles chopsticks from his chin.

The legend’s publications have taken a toll on social media: he has around five million followers on Instagram and around 3.4 million followers on TikTok.

Hopkins says Peoplein an interview with the magazine, that his socialization is not self-evident. The fact that he went to the social media world at all is, among other things, his wife Stella Arroyaven merit.

The actor reveals that he is often a bit reluctant when it is suggested to him to shoot a new video.

– I say not again now. But I do a little silly things because we need humor. We need laughter in our lives. For good reason, I guess. Life is hard. The world is a cruel place, but life has its beauty, Hopkins describes.

The actor does not want to behave like his peers.

– I’m 86, so I’ve turned it around. I’m actually 68, Hopkins says.

Hopkins says he spends his days off at the easel or at the piano – or spending time with his beloved wife.
