Also, when the previous step is taken, there are a number of avenues. Vandaag kiezen nog steeds meer vrouwen (65 percent) for ouderschapsverlof dan manen (35 percent). Toch is de stijging van 45 per cent by moeders less pronounced than by fathers. “The inhalation race van de vaders lijkt inzeet”, says Van Rompuy. “Hopelijk zet the evolutie zich komende jaren voort waardoor op termijn evenveel vaders as moeders kiezen voor het systeem.”
