Anssi Kela and his wife Sanna in a joint photo: R2D2 as a gift

Anssi Kela received a special birthday present from his wife.

Anssi Kela turned 50 on July 29. In his recent Instagram update, the singer reveals the gift he received from his wife.

In the picture, Kela is leaning on a large R2D2 robot inspired by the Star Wars movies.

– What do you give as a birthday present to a man who already has everything? Höpsis — nobody has everything. For example, I was missing a complete R2D2 replica, Kela writes in the update.

– Fortunately, my wife had noticed this lack, and together with my friends got me my own R2D2, which was given to me at the party organized on Sunday. I have to say that I was surprised — I didn’t expect anything like this. The best gift ever! Loving thanks to all of you who participated in the surprise.

Pinola has also shared pictures of her husband and his robot on her Instagram account. It appears from the publications that Kela’s 50th anniversary was organized in Tavastia with cake and friends.

Kela and Pinola got married in the spring after a long time together. The couple also have a daughter together.

The couple met once when Pinola taught Kela the secrets of racing cars.

On her birthday, Kela reflected on her own interests and hobbies, inspired by her spouse, in a post she published on Facebook.

– Last week my wife asked a stopping question: the things I’m excited about — are there any of them that don’t have their roots already in childhood or youth? Have I discovered anything new as an adult?

Kela said that she was a little shocked when she realized that Interests hasn’t changed much in thirty years.

– So I am still defined by what I was like when I was 10-20 years old. That’s when I found the blocks from which I put myself together. Of course, the structure has gained more height, but basically the interests are the same.

As examples, Kela mentioned his guitar hobby, sci-fi and formula racing, and Ritari Ässä’s car he built last summer.

– Inside the crumbling shell is silly little Anssi, who will probably never grow up.
