Anouk Smulders thinks it is very inconvenient of Jaimie Vaes that she has responded to her brutal abuse by Lil Kleine. “I don’t know if that’s the most convenient move yet,” she says.
About three weeks ago, Jaimie Vaes was brutally beaten in the middle of the street by her beloved Lil Kleine (Jorik Scholten). Until now, both parties have kept their mouths shut, but yesterday the security guard of the rapper did make himself heard. He shouted that Jaimie is a ‘dirty bitch’ and that he must have fallen for her cunning plans.
Jamie responds
Jaimie couldn’t let that pass her by. She gave a response to the juice channel Reality FBI, which was taken offline not much later – for reasons that are unclear. “How deeply sad that these kinds of lies are being spread by ‘friends’ of Jorik”, she grumbled. “It’s a shame that these kind of uneducated types get a chance.”
De Telegraaf decided to call Jaimie immediately after that swipe. She now tells the newspaper: “I normally never respond, but the stories are getting crazier. I am a full-time mother who is suddenly on my own. I have a lot of heartbreak to deal with in an unreal situation. The last thing on my mind is to trap Jorik.”
‘Only losers’
Jaimie continues: “These are Jorik’s actions that have been stopped in an unfortunate and harsh way. There are no winners in this, only losers.”
A fairly mild reaction, but Anouk Smulders of Shownieuws thinks this is very inconvenient of her. “A lot of emotion. I actually thought it was remarkable that she reacted to this. I don’t know if that’s the most useful action so far, but…”
Weekend boss Bart Ettekoven: “Why not?”
Hottest in battle
Anouk, who got really pissed off in December because of victim blaming in the Marco Borsato case, replies: “Yeah, well, in the heat of the moment… It feels like a kind of defense to say… Yes, is she okay? bring something? I do not know.”
Bart: “I especially found that comment about that child so strange, of: ‘Now I have to take care of that alone.’ Didn’t she already do that? Even all summer long when she lived alone in Ibiza?”
‘Those are your words’
Anouk: “I think the other way around. I just have to think about that child, that I think: everything is tossed around, but there is still a 2-year-old boy with it.”
Bart: “Maybe it’s better that they aren’t together anymore. However?”
Anouk: “Those are your words.”
Bart surprised: “For that child!”
Anouk is silent and looks doubtful. What a godsend that this woman did not become a social worker…
