A month after the death drive in downtown Berlin, a victim is still being treated in the hospital.

A spokeswoman for the health administration said on request on Thursday without giving any further details.

According to the prosecutor, the 29-year-old driver is still in a psychiatric hospital. The authorities accuse the German-Armenian of murder in one case and attempted murder in 17 cases.

The man had driven a car into two groups of people on Ku’damm and Tauentzienstrasse in western Berlin’s city center. A school class from Hesse who was a guest in the capital was particularly affected by the crime. The teacher died, and one teacher and seven students were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.
