The episode begins in 2003, when the story began. Audrey (Lou) is convinced that Itsas, the killer, is dead, and therefore decides to turn the page. Also thanks to passion (kept clandestine since the girl is engaged) that breaks out between her and Joseph (Thierry Neuvic).

Not finding the daughter anymore, the parents of Elaura give the alarm. But hopes run out when the police find her dead on a beach. Without understanding the reasons. In a veiled way, Audrey and her family come accused to be responsible for the murder.

Back in 2019, Police Inspector Pauline (Marilyn Lima) – pregnant – is in danger of being relieved of the investigation about the serial killer because of a too thoughtful pm. She therefore tries to convince him otherwise by proposing to be helped from his father, which is Audrey’s old love, Joseph.

Meanwhile in the police station the young Paxti (Vincent Heneine) confesses he had a love story with Madaleine (Prune Ventura), the young girl found killed a few days earlier. But as the investigators begin to suspect him, Audrey tries to convince them that Itsas is the one to kill instead, returning to strike. And shortly thereafter another young girl ends up in the crosshairs of the serial killer.

The locations of the miniseries

One of the strengths of the miniseries is certainly the setting in the Basque coast, mainly a Biarritz – but the fiction also explores other characteristic places in the area such as the chapel of Notre-Dame de Socorrithe rugged coast of Urrugne and the breathtaking Crêtes trail.

Locations that can be admired for their own mix between uncontaminated nature and crystal clear sea.

About that, the director Frédéric Berthe he told the portal Allociné to have chosen these places because “drama and romance they coexist in this region. It is a rugged coastline, which makes it sublime and visually very interesting. I like working in places I don’t know and there it was a continuous discovery ».
