The locations of the miniseries
One of the strengths of the miniseries is certainly the setting in the Basque coast, mainly a Biarritz – but the fiction also explores other characteristic places in the area such as the chapel of Notre-Dame de Socorrithe rugged coast of Urrugne and the breathtaking Crêtes trail.
Locations that can be admired for their own mix between uncontaminated nature and crystal clear sea.
About that, the director Frédéric Berthe he told the portal Allociné to have chosen these places because “drama and romance they coexist in this region. It is a rugged coastline, which makes it sublime and visually very interesting. I like working in places I don’t know and there it was a continuous discovery ».
