The racing company, which has been organizing races at the Kuurne hippodrome for more than 60 years, has suffered blows in recent years, causing doubts in some quarters about its continued existence. After the Covid period, organizing companies had to find that their loyal audience had decreased, which also resulted in less income.
The company had been negotiating with the Belgian Federation for some time to obtain more premium meetings. These meetings will be assigned from France to Belgium at the end of September and beginning of October. With, among other things, the Talpemeeting and the Grand Prix Mardi Gras, the racecourse has a good prospect for the coming winter.
