For the second time today an accident has happened on the A7. Two cars collided near Wieringerwerf. One person was injured, but is still ‘responsible’.
A police spokesperson tells NH that two passenger cars collided around 7:45 p.m. The guardrail, among other things, was hit and there was damage to the bodywork. One person has been injured. “But both parties involved are easily approachable,” said the spokesperson.
Photos show that it was a big blow: the engine block of the cars is on the road.
Second time on the A7
Near Noordbeemster a serious accident also happened last night. In a single-vehicle accident that occurred around 1:50 a.m two men died of 19 and 27 years old. The 19-year-old victim is from Wervershoof, the 27-year-old from Hoorn.

The A7 is closed near Wieringerwerf so that emergency services can do their work. Road users are requested to follow the local diversion. “What exactly happened is unclear at this time and is under investigation,” the spokesperson said.
