When the rain stopped, the princess moved to the royal court, where she watched her friend’s tennis legend play Roger Federer’s with. The two’s meeting sparked horrified reactions, as Federer committed an etiquette blunder: he touched the princess on the back in what could be seen as an all-too-familiar gesture.
Despite the rain and Catherine’s friend’s etiquette mistake, the princess’s smile did not fade. Catherine seemed to enjoy the match as well as her company. The princess is also known to be a great friend of the sport, as she has been the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis member club since 2016.
