An elderly man almost died in the Gaerveld residential care center in Hasselt after being injected with an overdose of insulin. The research editors of HLN and ‘VTM Nieuws’ know this. The man eventually survived. The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into attempted murder. So far, the court has not yet identified a suspect. The rest home – owned by residential care group Armonea – already had a dubious history.
