It is precisely on this social network that many women they are using the song as a background to the gesture of cutting a lock of hair or in resuming street protests.
Always fight for your rights
The reason for the choice is a piece of the song in which Odell sings these words: “And if somebody hurts you, I wanna fight / But my hands been broken one too many times / So I’ll use my voice, I’ll be so f * cking rude / Words they always win, but I know I’ll lose “.

Those strands that are cut not only in Iran, but around the world, they are the gesture of solidarity of all women towards Mahsa Amini.

The official cause would have been a heart attack, but young Iranians suspect she was killed by the police.
The girl’s death, however, this time sparked a protest that has been going on for days and unfortunately resulted in more arrests and deaths. Among which the “girl of the tail” symbol of the protests against the veil, Hadith Najafi hit by 6 bullets.
That haircut that means so much
But as always happens now, protests are no longer limited to the streetbut they also move quickly on social networks and, in this case, especially on TikTok.
On the platform, in fact, there are thousands of videos of girls cutting a lock of hairjust like the one that would lead to Amini’s death.

Odell, whose song released in 2013 had a huge surge in ratings, sided with the protest. And during one of his concerts in Hanover, Germany, dedicated “Another Love” to these women fighting for their rights without fear of dying.
