A 16-year-old Belgian boy died this weekend after an accident in a swimming pond in Germany. A week earlier, a 19-year-old young man also drowned in De Plas in Houthalen. Unfortunately, no summer goes by without drowning deaths. It is often said that the victims could not swim ‘well enough’. But from when can you supposedly swim ‘good’?
