Another explosive went off at a Purmerend home

An explosive went off at a house on Veenweidestraat in Purmerend last night around 3:10 am. Police say no one was injured.

A local resident told Regio Purmerend that it involved three explosions that took place shortly after each other.

The fire brigade was present shortly after the explosion, the police and the Explosives Reconnaissance Team followed shortly afterwards. No one was injured and no one was arrested.

Connection unclear

It is still unclear whether this explosion has anything to do with the previous shootings, fire bombs and extortion. The past year has been very restless in the municipality of Purmerend. Several explosives went off and homes were also closed.
