Another accident on E17 in Kortrijk: evening rush hour is fixed

The accident happened in Kortrijk-South during the full evening rush hour, and that immediately led to a long traffic jam, from Deerlijk onwards. In the meantime, only the right lane is still blocked, but waiting times have risen to 40 minutes, from Deerlijk towards France.

Accidents regularly occur on the E17 towards France. It is now busier because the connection of the R8 with the A19 is closed. As a result, all traffic for Ypres also has to go through the exchanger in Aalbeke, resulting in traffic jams and accidents every day.
