In July and August, more than 11,000 students can attend one of the summer schools that are organized in 88 Flemish municipalities and in Brussels. This means that the number of places is the same as last summer. “Summer schools are opportunity machines, especially for the most vulnerable children,” said Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA) and Flemish Minister of Internal Affairs Bart Somers (Open VLD) in a statement.
