The hacker team claims to have access to data from Nestlé, the world’s largest food company. Anonymous says it has received 10 gigabytes of information on social media, including email addresses, passwords, customer information and other important information.

This information package is distributed on the Internet, but Iltalehti does not recommend downloading it, as you cannot be completely sure of its contents.

The Swiss company Nestlé denies allegations that its systems have been compromised. According to the company’s communications, the data comes from accidentally leaked test data last February.

– There is no basis for the recent allegation of a cyber attack on Nestlé and the subsequent leak. This is the case in February this year, where some of the randomized and largely publicly available B2B-type test data was inadvertently made available online for a short period of time. We will investigate the matter immediately, and no additional measures were deemed necessary, Nestlé is told Iltalehti.

Regarding communication, it is also emphasized that cyber security is one of Nestlé’s top priorities.

The hacking allegation alleged by Anonymous is backed by an extensive boycott of Nestlé. Also the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi has itself visibly criticized Nestlé.

Nestlé has continued its operations in Russia despite the fact that the country launched an attack on Ukraine in late February. People around the world have demanded that the company leave Russia.

Nestlé has commented on the situation in the past, saying it will not make a profit in Russia with the activities it still maintains in the country. Nestlé has supplied Russia with, for example, baby food, cereals and animal food.

– We will not make a profit with our remaining operations. The fact that we, like other food companies, deliver important food to people does not mean that we will continue as before, a Nestlé spokesman said on Monday. To Bloomberg.

– We are doing everything in Ukraine and its neighboring countries to help in this humanitarian catastrophe. We are still one of the few food companies operating in Ukraine, and from time to time we manage to distribute food even in Kharkov.
