Annual turnover increases by twelve percent

The retailer Deerberg GmbH closed the 2021 financial year with an increase in sales. The focus on a sustainable range in women’s fashion and the expansion of home textiles are said to have driven growth, the company from Lüneburg Heath announced on Monday.

Compared to the previous year, Deerberg increased sales by twelve percent to around 61 million euros. In addition to the domestic market, Deerberg continued to invest in other markets. This enabled an increase in turnover to be achieved in Austria. In Switzerland, demand is at the previous year’s level and sales were only slightly exceeded. The retailer has had an online shop in the Netherlands since autumn. As a result, the company expects sales growth for 2022.

The company was also able to further expand its customer base. Compared to the previous year, Deerberg reached 13 percent more customers. The retailer attributes the number to a “more targeted customer approach in the online and catalog business”, according to Velgen.
