Annual horse blessing in Torhout is a success

The ceremony always takes place on the third weekend of October. Between World Animal Day and Saint Hubertus, the holiday of hunters and horsemen. Torhout is a center of equestrian sport and has been known for centuries as the horse town of West Flanders with its horse market.
